This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Brest at the Stade du Roudourou for the first leg of the Champions League 2024-2025 play-off (kick-off 6.45pm, UTC+1, and return on Wednesday February 19). On the eve of the match, Le Parisien has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Barcola
Doué ou Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
It’s an entirely possible team, and one that makes sense given recent matches, particularly in the Champions League, and the choices made by coach Luis Enrique. But beware: he knows how to surprise, and could do so again in this European round.
We’ve learned to be cautious, even though he doesn’t let the press in on anything. Not to mention that it’s hard to know exactly where the players will fit in. Even with the 11 names in the line-up, there could still be a few surprises. So much the better, as it means that the preparation is difficult for the opponents. Let’s hope the Parisian coach has found the right formula for another great performance.
