Fabrice Abriel, coach of Paris Saint-Germain’s women’s team, spoke to the club’s website after the 6-0 victory over Saint-Etienne on day 19 of the Arkéma 2024-2025 Première Ligue (video summary PSG/Saint-Etienne) at Campus PSG. What were your words after the victory ?
I’d just like to congratulate the players for doing what we’ve been working on in training this week. We worked on the start of the game, on the first 20 minutes. Obviously, when you score 3 goals in 10 minutes, you’re very satisfied.
After that, we need to manage the pace, not give away too much possession, and keep scoring goals in the first half. After that, we look at the game differently, in terms of management.
It was important not to concede any chances, not to relax and let the opposition come into our half. We managed to do that. Everyone played their part. We’re focused on the end of the championship and we’re trying to get everyone to play well.
