This Saturday, as part of the 30th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain took on Le Havre at the Parc des Princes. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu played (too?) quietly, they won 2-1. Here are our notes on the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6) – Good presence, good footwork, he played a quiet game, especially in the first half.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (6) – A slow first half, but it was enough. Replaced in the 62nd minute by Nuno Mendes.
Lucas Beraldo (6.5) – A good first half. Kept his concentration.
Lucas Hernandez (6) – Interesting first half. He seems to be getting back into form, which will do him good.
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – Left-sided defender, he doesn’t have his bearings, but he got the job done overall in the first half. More incisive in the second half.
Midfield –
Lee Kang-in (5.5) – Good intentions at the start of the first half. Then lost a few balls. Replaced by Joao Neves in the 73rd minute.
Senny Mayulu (7) – Nice first half, full of character. Shows he can be a player of the future for Paris.
Désiré Doué (7) – Along with Dembélé, he’s the player of the year 2025. He brings magic. Without a few regulars, he was less able to combine. Replaced by Presnel Kimpembe in the 81st minute.
Forwards –
Ibrahim Mbaye (5.5) – Available, but still shy. He’ll grow with this kind of match. Replaced in the 62nd minute by Vitinha.
Gonçalo Ramos (6) – Always impeccable at monopolizing defences and leaving space for his team-mates. He only missed one goal in the first half. He missed too many chances in this match, but he scores, and that can do him good.
Bradley Barcola (6) – Stirring, he had space. Could have made better choices at various points in the first half. Replaced in the 73rd minute by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (6) – He continues to use the rotation, despite the lack of shared playing time. It worked, quietly, in the first half. PSG took another goal from an opponent’s header. He also needs to improve the team in this area, especially for next season.
