The 2025 summer mercato is now open in France until 8pm on September 1, so the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, Sponichi reports that PSG are among the clubs interested in Keita Kosugi, the 19-year-old left-back from Japan and Djugarden (contract until 2027).
Please note, there is nothing concrete and therefore no certainty. It’s possible that Kosugi is a PSG prospect, with recruitment in his position rather expected. However, there are plenty of other possibilities for both parties.
We know that the media and agents like to quote Paris in a dossier in order to “spice it up”. Not to mention the fact that Paris prepares a number of dossiers, without getting involved in all of them. As a result, at every mercato, a number of players are mentioned but never actually signed. Let’s wait and see what category the young Japanese will be in.
