This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Bayern Munich at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup (kick-off 6pm CET, broadcast on DAZN). On the eve of the match, Le Parisien reported (with images) that Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) is back in training.
Ruiz only missed one session on Thursday due to a virus, which is reassuring for his state of fitness tomorrow. It seems quite possible that he will start and perform well. Although it would not be entirely surprising to see him on the bench.
At the very least, the PSG squad will be able to call on a valuable asset and no doubt avoid a forfeit. The only player expected to miss out is 29-year-old defender Presnel Kimpembe.
