Achraf Hakimi, 26-year-old right-sided piston of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke to DAZN after the 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich (video highlights PSG/Bayern Munich) this Saturday at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup. He spoke of the victory, but also of the undoubtedly serious injury to Jamal Musiala (Bayern’s 22-year-old attacking midfielder).
Hakimi: “We’re very proud and happy with our efforts.”
A big win against a great team, how do you feel after this match?
As you said, we’re very proud and very happy with the efforts made by the players. We had a very big team in front of us, a difficult team to play against, and we did what we had to do to win the match.
Was that the real test?
We know we’re up against some big teams. They’re teams who play a bit like us, like Bayern Munich for example. We put in a lot of effort today and played a very good match.
Hakimi “I give him all my support and I hope he comes back soon.”
Do you prefer Real Madrid or Dortmund?
It doesn’t really matter, we have to stay focused on ourselves. We’re going to try to be ready for this match and we’re obviously going to try to win. I’d also like to say a word about Jamal Musiala. I have the impression that it’s a very serious injury for him, and I give him all my support.
