Lucas Beraldo, Brazil’s 21-year-old defender, has made a name for himself since joining Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024 (contract runs until 2028), but without totally establishing himself as a reassuring regular on the big nights. TBR Football reports this Thursday that Bournemouth are interested in the Brazilian, while Liverpool and Chelsea have also been approached.
“any interest in Beraldo would be separate from PSG’s current interest in Zabarnyi.”
“Bournemouth are interested in Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Beraldo, a player who is being offered to Liverpool by his side. The Brazilian international could be available this summer – he has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes as Luis Enrique looks to reshuffle elements of his squad.
Beraldo’s team are working on potential options with PSG, who are said to be open to offers, and are approaching a number of clubs in England. Among them, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Bournemouth are still looking to replace Huijsen and are interested in a number of players – and we can confirm that Beraldo is one of them.
It is understood that any interest in Beraldo would be separate from PSG’s current interest in Zabarnyi.”
We remain cautious, as there are only rumours. So it’s impossible to be certain. Especially as Beraldo’s desire to leave, mentioned by L’Equipe, has been denied in other media. It’s all a blur, then.
The Brazilian could be of interest to certain clubs, including Bournemouth, but this is far from certain. There may well be other possibilities, and there’s nothing yet to suggest that the defender is particularly keen to leave.
If it were to be Bournemouth, where Ilya Zabarnyi (22) seems to appeal to PSG, it’s hard to imagine that discussions wouldn’t be somewhat linked. Without it necessarily being an exchange, this could play a part in the compensation. But we’re still a long way from being in that situation. Let’s wait and see.
