Having arrived in the 2023 summer mercato from Inter Milan, 30-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and he has been loaned out to Fenerbahçe for the second half of the 2024-2025 season. He has bounced back well and there is now talk of a permanent move to the Turkish club this summer. This Thursday, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the Slovakian’s idea is still clear-cut and that negotiations are continuing, while there has been talk of a stalemate on the Parisian side (with a demand for 20 million euros).
Nothing’s been done yet, so there’s still some doubt. We’ve already seen negotiations get bogged down and files change completely from the outcome that seemed likely. So we’ll have to wait and see.
Even if we can assume that an agreement will eventually be reached between PSG and Fenerbahçe, especially if the player has such clear ideas about his future. Let’s hope things don’t drag on too long, as it’s always nice when the mercato takes shape.
