The Ligue de Football Professionnel has decided on the schedule for Matchday 1 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, which will be played over the weekend of Saturday August 23, 2025. We now know that Paris Saint-Germain will face Angers the day before at the Parc des Princes at 8:45pm, and that the match will be broadcast on Ligue 1+. This match will follow the reception of Angers the following weekend on Matchday 1 of Ligue 1, and will precede the trip to Toulouse the following weekend (Matchday 3).
