The Ligue de Football Professionnel has decided on the schedule for Matchday 1 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, which will be played over the weekend of August 16, 2025. We now know that Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire the following day at 8:45pm, and that the match will be broadcast on Ligue 1+. This match will follow the European Supercup against Tottenham on August 13 in Udine, and will precede the reception of Angers the following weekend on Matchday 2 of Ligue 1.
