David Luiz, a 38-year-old defender who has played for Benfica, Chelsea (where he won the Champions League), Paris Saint-Germain (2014-2016), Arsenal and Flamengo (where he won the Copa Libertadores), has just embarked on a surprising new career challenge. The Brazilian international (57 caps) has left Brazil (where he was with Fortaleza) and signed a 2-year contract with Pafos FC in Cyprus.
Seeing David back in Europe was far from obvious, especially with such a beautiful destination. But it could be a great challenge, with a new championship and a new country to discover.
