Having arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2023 from Benfica, 23-year-old striker Gonçalo Ramos has had a difficult adjustment period, with a long illness and then an injury in the first half of the 2024-2025 season. Although he has improved since then, he has not fully established himself and rumors are piling up. There has been talk of a move from Newcastle. Journalist Fabrizio Romano indicated this Monday that PSG has a clear position.
“Despite Newcastle’s interest in Goncalo Ramos, PSG wants to keep him. It would take a colossal offer to try to change things.

This announcement is entirely credible, since it comes from a generally reliable journalist, and it makes relative sense. We know that not everyone is a fan of Ramos’s contribution to PSG, but he still has statistical averages that place him among the top European players. He also has a unique goal-scoring profile at PSG, with a certain ability to combine with his teammates.
In any case, selling him easily is out of the question. A replacement would likely be difficult to find, especially if we were to have a player willing to be a potential backup and maintain a positive attitude throughout the season.
We’re waiting to be certain; the transfer window is still long and could bring surprises. But Ramos could well stay at PSG.
