There is good hope for a transfer for Asensio today, as he seemed stuck after the collapse of the Fenerbahçe deal during the transfer window. With only one year left on his contract, Paris desperately needs a sale this summer if they hope to recoup a significant sum. This is still possible thanks to his rather good run at Aston Villa and the fear of potential competition for a signing at the end of his contract. However, nothing is certain for the moment.
