Good ratings for a fairly convincing team performance against Ukraine, with some standout individual performances. It’s refreshing to see this French team play like this; we’d like to get used to it. It wasn’t perfect, but we saw some good team creativity. Olise and Tchouaméni were particularly impressive. Let’s hope this continues.
Barcola also impressed, confirming his growing form in recent matches. Unfortunately, Doué had to come off at halftime after a blow to his calf, and was then replaced by Dembélé, who himself then had to come off injured.
