Achraf Hakimi, the 26-year-old right-back of Paris Saint-Germain (2nd), spoke at a press conference this Tuesday ahead of facing FC Barcelona (12th) at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys tomorrow (kick-off at 9 p.m., CET) for Matchday 2 of the 2025-26 Champions League. On the sidelines of the event, the Moroccan international also spoke to PSG TV, sharing his thoughts on the team’s mindset.

How’s the group doing
“The team feels good, motivated, eager for the match to begin. We’re doing really well, I think. We’ll show it in training, get the right sensations in order to arrive in the best possible shape.”
With such a strong presence of supporters, what’s the right recipe?
“It’s great to see them with us. I remember two years ago we won there and celebrated with them. It feels good to be back. We have to bring the same ingredients we usually do. We have to play with personality, with and without the ball. We’re going to press, we’re not going to sit back. We’ll try to take all three points with a win.”
