This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain face FC Barcelona at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for Matchday 2 of the 2025-26 Champions League (kick-off at 9 p.m., live on Canal+). On Tuesday evening, Le Parisien revealed a likely starting XI for the Parisians.

It’s a very plausible lineup, given the available players and the competition within the squad. PSG seem to have found a strong formula, and it will be difficult to dislodge the “starters.” Since this is the big match of the week, even though Sunday’s trip to Lille (Matchday 7) will also be important, there isn’t really a need for special squad rotation.
Coach Luis Enrique is expected to field a team capable of controlling the game and winning. Even so, we can’t be completely certain of what that means. He has a knack for springing surprises, especially based on his detailed analysis of opponents. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow night for confirmation.
