This week saw the third matchday of the 2025-2026 Champions League. UEFA then holds various fan votes. Paris Saint-Germain, who won 2-7 at the BayArena today against Bayer Leverkusen, are not among the nominees for the Player of the Week award. The competition is between Fermin Lopez (22-year-old attacking midfielder from FC Barcelona), Dennis Man (27-year-old winger from PSV Eindhoven), Felix Nmecha (25-year-old forward from Borussia Dortmund), and Gorka Guruzeta (29-year-old forward from Athletic Bilbao).
It’s a bit surprising not to find a PSG player at the end of a remarkable performance, like Vitinha, Nuno Mendes or Désiré Doué, but there is also a lot of competition in this competition for honorary titles. The selected players had an impressive performance, it’s difficult to make a choice.
