As is customary after each matchday, L’Équipe has published its Team of the Week for Matchday 10 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, which took place this past weekend. Despite a 1-1 draw against Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir, Paris Saint-Germain has no players selected.

The absence of a PSG player in this Team of the Week is quite understandable, given their generally disappointing performance in Lorient. While some players were more impressive, such as Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back) and Lucas Beraldo (21-year-old defender), it’s hardly enough to compete with other promising performances that deserve recognition.
It’s worth noting, however, that Lorient is also absent. A draw against PSG is, normally, a significant achievement. This somewhat underscores that it was primarily the Parisians who were disappointing, rather than the heroic performance of Lorient. It was a rather dull match. Fortunately, there will be other, more exciting games to come.
