Kheira Hamraoui, a 35-year-old midfielder for Al-Hilal SC, left Paris Saint-Germain in 2023 after two difficult years. Assaulted by several individuals, Hamraoui’s life changed in seconds. She regrets that her club did not support her and, worse, that they treated her with indifference. This led her to file a complaint. Following Monday’s hearing at the Labor Court, PSG issued an official statement.

From the day after Kheira Hamraoui’s assault until her last day with the team, the club did everything possible to ensure her protection, deploying a comprehensive set of measures: close protection, psychological support, monitoring by occupational health services, and adjustments to her training to guarantee her safety.
When incidents of tension or inappropriate behavior from some teammates were reported, the club immediately initiated an alert procedure with the Works Council and took the necessary disciplinary measures, including warnings and reprimands.

Ms. Hamraoui was subsequently granted a temporary leave of absence before resuming training under enhanced protection.

Regarding the allegations of psychological harassment, the club points out that, during the 2022-2023 season, Kheira Hamraoui participated in almost all official matches, right up until the end of her contract, demonstrating that her sporting career continued under normal conditions within the professional squad.
Paris Saint-Germain also wishes to reiterate that it has joined Ms. Hamraoui as a civil party in the criminal proceedings, thus demonstrating the club’s solidarity in the face of the exceptionally serious events to which the player has been subjected.
The verdict is expected on December 16.
