Paulo César: “Once again, we saw some great things, but in the end, the result wasn’t for us.”
Another frustrating evening?
Yes, once again, we saw some great things, but in the end, the result wasn’t for us. It’s a shame, because I thought the girls showed great solidarity; they gave it their all. I’m very proud of what the girls have shown.
We also have to thank the fans, the Ultras, and the families; they created an atmosphere that was a real asset for the players. I hope this relationship will continue to improve so that the results start coming our way.
Paulo César: “We mustn’t give up. We mustn’t hang our heads.”
Today, in the Champions League, the results aren’t good at all, but I remain confident. There are six points up for grabs; we have to win here and then at Benfica. We mustn’t give up. We mustn’t hang our heads.
I’m happy and proud of what we’ve shown. I have no complaints about the team spirit. That’s what we’re looking for today. We come here to win, but unfortunately, we’re up against a very efficient team up front.
