Terrible news broke on Monday: Rolland Courbis, iconic football coach and consultant, has passed away at the age of 72.
“It is with deep sadness that his family, in association with RMC, announces the passing of Rolland Courbis, which occurred this Monday, January 12th. Rolland was 72 years old.

A former player who came up through the ranks at Marseille and also played for Sochaux, AS Monaco, and Toulon, he also coached numerous clubs including Bordeaux, OM, Ajaccio, and Montpellier. Courbis had also become a prominent voice in French football, regularly appearing on RMC Sport.
