This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain released an official statement announcing the expansion of the PSG Academy to Japan. Launched in Tokyo in 2022, it will now operate across five training centers.
“to gradually reach up to 1,000 participants spread across all five sites.”
Paris Saint-Germain announces the opening of a new PSG Academy in Japan, a project structured around five training sites located in the Kanto and Tokai regions. This Academy will be developed locally in partnership with Maruhei Co., Ltd., strictly adhering to the Club’s standards, methodology, and educational philosophy.
Designed for girls and boys aged 4 to 15, and open to players of all levels, the PSG Academy Japan will welcome approximately 300 young players during its initial launch phase. As part of a three-year development plan, the project aims to gradually reach up to 1,000 participants across all five sites.
It was envisioned at its inauguration three years ago that the PSG Academy would grow, and the club is therefore moving forward with its ambitious plan. This is a strong sign of the club’s progress, further expanding its reach as it already has a presence in numerous countries (USA, Canada, Brazil, France + French Antilles & French Guiana, Wales, England, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, Russia, Egypt, Senegal, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, China, and Japan).
This is a great way to forge strong ties with these countries, and perhaps also to discover some young talents. In any case, it seems to be a success, as PSG continues to develop this network worldwide.
