On Monday, Paris officially announced the launch of a new center—this time in Montevideo, Uruguay.

“Paris Saint-Germain continues to expand its global network of PSG Academies with the opening of its first football school in Uruguay. Based in Montevideo, this new Academy will allow young Uruguayan players to benefit from the Club’s official methodology. The project will kick off in December 2026 with an initial official camp bringing together up to 600 children, followed by the launch of the annual program in February 2027. With this new Academy, Paris Saint-Germain strengthens its presence in South America, in a country with a unique footballing history.
PSG Academy Uruguay will officially open its doors with an initial training camp from December 14 to 18, 2026, at the Ciudad Deportiva Nogales, bringing together hundreds of girls and boys aged 4 to 18.

Starting in February 2027, PSG Academy Uruguay will offer an annual program identical to those developed across all the Club’s football schools, catering to approximately 300 young players of all levels at the Parque Batlle pitches.

PSG is thus pressing ahead with this major project, reaching a 25th country worldwide. It is a massive undertaking. There is something beautiful about giving young people access to high-quality coaching all year round.
