This Sunday, during Matchday 20 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Strasbourg at the Stade de la Meinau. After a match where the Red and Blue dominated possession but sometimes struggled, they won 2-1. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Matvey Safonov (7) – He saved a penalty and was composed both on his clearances and with his distribution. The goalkeeper conceded a goal that seems unfortunate, but it’s always a difficult situation.

Defenders –

Achraf Hakimi (3.5) – A bit sharper than in his return against Newcastle, he still lacked precision in his finishing and received an avoidable red card that put his team in danger.

Marquinhos (5) – Sometimes very accurate, he was also troubled at times and committed a very avoidable handball that led to a penalty.

Willian Pacho (6.5) – Panichelli was a nuisance, but the Parisian defender often managed to assert himself.

Nuno Mendes (7) – While he still has some fine-tuning to do, he remains an important weapon both offensively and defensively. He scored the second goal when the Parisian side was down to 10 men.

Midfielders –

Joao Neves (6) – Always essential in midfield, but we’d like to see him be a bit more incisive going forward. Perhaps by taking more chances.

Vitinha (6) – He continues to be important in ball circulation, but he lacked precision at times. He probably needs rest.

Warren Zaïre-Emery (7) – The 19-year-old midfielder confirmed that he is back in form. Still solid, he added attacking impetus. And even a crucial assist with his beautiful cross for Nuno Mendes.

Forwards –

Ibrahim Mbaye (2) – He was virtually invisible before being substituted at halftime. Replaced in the 45th minute by Désiré Doué (6). He showed a better attitude than in recent matches and created some danger.

Senny Mayulu (5.5) – It’s good to see the academy graduate scoring again, but he’s still struggling to regain his presence and creativity in the game. There were a few good moments, though. Replaced in the 59th minute by Lee Kang-In.

Bradley Barcola (4) – His speed created some good opportunities and his pressing led to the opening goal, but he made many poor decisions and was wasteful in front of goal. Replaced in the 59th minute by Ousmane Dembélé.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (7) – Everything isn’t perfect, but he’s navigating this very special season and his team has managed to prevail despite the difficulties.
