Dembélé “We weren’t efficient but it was a good match.”
An important victory?
Yes, it’s an important victory. We should have scored two or three goals more at the start of the game. We weren’t effective, but it was a good match against a difficult team who are slow and difficult, they press a lot and they put a lot of intensity. I think we got the job done just before the Champions League match.
At 11 against 10 you felt like stalling?
When we start the game, we go all out and try to score as many goals as possible. We didn’t score enough, but overall we had a good game, and Lens is a good team too. They also put us in trouble, so at the end of the game we have to be careful not to take a goal and leave frustrated.
How’s your goal for confidence?
Yes, it feels good. Bradley found me at the far post and all I had to do was push it home.
