Paris Saint-Germain defeated Chelsea 3-0 (8-2 on aggregate, quarter-final to be played against Liverpool or Galatasaray) this Tuesday at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League Round of 16. Following this victory, Sportune took stock of the millions already accumulated by PSG during this run.
This season, even before facing Chelsea, the Parisian club had already earned €93 million: €82 million from the group stage, plus €11 million for simply reaching the Round of 16. Qualifying for the quarter-finals adds another €12.5 million to this total. A semi-final appearance would add another 15 million to the total.
A total of 105.5 million euros is already a significant boost to the club’s coffers. This is undoubtedly important for the future of the project, with solid finances that also serve to strengthen the squad on the pitch. It’s not the aspect we like to focus on most, but it’s certainly not something to overlook.
To maintain a place at the top of European football, resources are essential. PSG has also made significant progress in this area, fueled, of course, by sporting successes. This includes not only direct revenue from competitions but also the development of its image and various sales.
