On April 8th and 14th, Paris Saint-Germain will face Liverpool in the quarterfinals of the 2025-2026 Champions League. Naturally, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the Reds’ news between now and then. We’ve seen 33-year-old goalkeeper Alisson Becker confirm a muscle injury on social media.

“Unfortunately, I’m out for a while. I’m already working hard to come back stronger!”

This is very bad news for Liverpool, who are losing their starting goalkeeper, a benchmark in that position, especially as the team still has some uncertainties to overcome before facing PSG. However, he’s not ruled out yet; we’ll have to wait and see in the coming weeks.
