On Saturday at the Allianz Riviera, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Nice 4-0 in Matchday 27 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Nuno Mendes (23-year-old full-back) won.

A great victory for Nuno Mendes, who played on the left wing in this match. We’d seen him there a few times before, but no one expected him to start this game. It was quite a success, even if he wasn’t quite as incisive as when he starts from the back. He remains a valuable asset and proved it with a beautiful assist for Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward). The Portuguese player also opened the scoring from the penalty spot, which isn’t so easy considering PSG’s recent penalty attempts. His first appearance isn’t a surprise. Especially since this PSG side, while winning comfortably, wasn’t particularly exciting either.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25-year-old striker) was able to be dangerous, but it’s a bit of a surprise to see him ahead of Doué, since he wasn’t decisive. Rounding out the top three, Vitinha (26-year-old midfielder) controlled the game and was the architect of the last two goals, finding space on Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old striker). We weren’t particularly expecting to see Ilya Zabarnyi (23-year-old defender) on the list, but it’s good that he’s being highlighted. We could have considered Lucas Beraldo, the 22-year-old defender who made an interesting appearance in midfield.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
