Semih Kiliçsoy, the 19-year-old Turkish striker under contract to Besiktas until 2028, has been mentioned as a target for Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato. PSG Inside Actus reports on Friday that PSG are ready to come back to the table, after a deal worth €20 million plus €8 in bonuses was agreed with the club, before the player preferred to stay on to sharpen his skills. Viktor Gyökeres (26) would appear to be a target for the summer.

“ PSG will relaunch negotiations to finalize this transfer as early as this winter mercato.”
“PSG will therefore relaunch negotiations to finalize this transfer as early as this winter mercato with or without the arrival of Viktor Gyökeres. In the event of failure, other avenues have been explored.
As far as Viktor Gyökeres is concerned, PSG is in competition with a number of clubs, including Barcelona, and English clubs such as Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City could also enter the race. However, the fact that Paris has been in contact with the player since the summer mercato could make all the difference.
Gyökeres next summer?
Sporting would only ask for 70 million euros, despite the 100 million euro clause. Gyökeres had expressed an interest in joining PSG, but didn’t want to clash in Lisbon, because despite everything, he feels at home in Portugal.
As for his possible arrival this winter, it will be difficult because the club is well on the way to continuing in the Champions League, and the Portuguese club would need to find a replacement, and in this winter mercato it’s difficult, which is why Paris Saint-Germain are also considering recruiting Kiliçsoy.”
Nothing unthinkable, nor certain. For the moment, the rumours are piling up, but there’s nothing concrete. Kiliçsoy, who seems to have a bright future, could be a target. Even if his start to the season (787 minutes, 1 and 4 assists) hasn’t been absolutely fantastic. He’s still quite interesting, and regularly makes decisive contributions.
The young thing at least has a style that seems to fit in well with Luis Enrique and the PSG project. He can play on the flanks as well as in the middle, and is capable of creating and finishing. He’s a talent to be nurtured, which fits in with what’s been in place since the summer of 2023. What’s more, he could well accept being a competitor or understudy.
A role Gyökeres would never accept, while Gonçalo Ramos (23) wouldn’t want to be in his shadow either. Some people have obviously forgotten about him because his 3-month injury is almost over, but he has shown great promise with Benfica, Portugal and PSG. It would be a shame not to give the player we’ve already recruited a real chance.
The Swede is a bit of a phenomenon at the moment, so the media and the fans are all thinking about him. But he’s not a miracle solution, and there are other players out there. There are also other needs in the Parisian squad. The staff and management are probably aware of this. Even if Gyökeres can be a great recruit, it shouldn’t be just any old way.
