The 2024 summer mercato is over, but the next phase is already underway, and the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain continue. Today, PSG Inside Actus reports that Mohammed Kudus, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder from Ghana under contract at West Ham until 2028, is once again a target for PSG after interest in 2023 (when he left Ajax for West Ham).

An offer this winter?

However, PSG will not be alone in the race. Arsenal, also interested in Kudus, could well complicate the Parisians’ plans. The Gunners, in search of reinforcements for their own midfield, see Kudus as a player capable of making a difference and would even be the favorite.
Negotiations therefore look set to be intense, with one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs ready to do anything to secure the Ghanaian’s services.”
Kudus is a talented player who could bring pace, creativity and decisive moves to the Parisian team. He could, for example, be considered to replace Fabian Ruiz (28), who is struggling to convince in midfield. At the very least, he’d be a great competitor. With the ability to play as a false 9 or winger too.
But it’s far too early to get carried away. Numerous players are being talked about, but not all of them will be recruited. There won’t even be an offer for everyone. Kudus, like the other leads, may have other preferences and interesting offers could come in. Perhaps from Arsenal, or other big clubs.
It’s worth bearing in mind that Kudus’s agent criticised PSG in the summer of 2023 when there was no serious attempt to recruit him, but he has since changed his representative as it’s his family.
