This Saturday, the women’s teams of Paris Saint-Germain and Paris FC faced off at the PSG Campus in the semi-final of the 2025-2026 Women’s French Cup. After the 2-1 victory, defender Jade Le Guilly, making her return after a long injury, spoke to PSG TV. She also discussed the final, against Strasbourg or Lyon (match this Sunday).
Jade Le Guilly: “We know these French Cup finals, we know they can come down to the wire.”
“It was an extraordinary match, but also a disaster. We finished with nine men. But I’m experiencing great emotions for my return, and with the whole team. When I came on, I knew I had to be there defensively, that I had to be tough.” I’ve been working flat out for seven months, so it was time to enjoy myself and play with the team.
We know how these French Cup finals go; we know they can come down to the wire. All we want is to work hard so we’re ready on the day.
