Each month, the UNFP organizes the election of the best player in Ligue 1. For the March 2026 election, one Paris Saint-Germain player is in the final. The competition is between Florian Thauvin (33-year-old forward from RC Lens), Maghnes Akliouche (24-year-old attacking midfielder/winger from AS Monaco), and Folarin Balogun (24-year-old forward from Monaco).
