On Sunday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain lost 1-2 to Olympique Lyonnais in Matchday 30 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25-year-old forward) won.

It’s a significant victory, especially since it’s rare for a substitute to win. But Kvaratskhelia’s introduction was remarkable. He added dynamism, helped PSG take a step forward in terms of attacking threat, and scored a very nice goal. Unfortunately, he was the only attacking player in top form. We were even a little surprised to see votes for Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) and Bradley Barcola (23-year-old forward), who both struggled.
Warren Zaïre-Emery (20-year-old midfielder), who performed quite well in the middle of the park, and Matvey Safonov (27-year-old goalkeeper), who made two saves and wasn’t at fault for the goals, were also among the top three. Fabian Ruiz, the 30-year-old midfielder who made a very encouraging return from injury, was also a contender.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three finishers from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
