This Saturday, during Matchday 31 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Angers at the Stade Raymond-Kopa. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu controlled the game, they won 3-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (5) – A very quiet match (too quiet?).
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (6) – A first half without any major highlights. A minor scare, but no real danger. Replaced at halftime by Dro Fernandez.
Ilyia Zabarnyi (6) – A trouble-free first half. Hardly troubled.
Willian Pacho (6) – The cornerstone of the Parisian defense. A pillar, always clean in his duels.
Lucas Hernandez (5) – Fairly neutral, he didn’t play poorly, but he doesn’t contribute much to Luis Enrique’s system. Defensively, he’s still as aggressive as ever. Substituted at halftime by Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – An uneventful appearance. He used his power on the left flank.
Midfielders –
Senny Mayulu (6) – He has character, but he’s still struggled more this season overall. He battled well and scored a goal with a nice move. That will do him good. Substituted by Nuno Mendes in the 70th minute.
Lucas Beraldo (7.5) – Assist, scorer, the man of the match. Of course, he was helped by the relative weakness of the opposition.
Fabian Ruiz (5) – He picked up some pace, which will do him good. He was very mobile. Replaced by Joao Neves at halftime (6) – An energetic entrance, a half spent keeping his legs fresh.
Forwards –
Bradley Barcola (5) – He hasn’t fully recovered from his injury. At least, he hasn’t yet returned to his peak physical condition. He made few impact, and with the few chances he had, he lacked composure. Replaced by Ibrahim Mbaye at the hour mark.
Gonçalo Ramos (4) – Few touches, few chances, little influence. It’s not that he’s bad, it’s mainly that he seems ill-suited to PSG’s style of play, according to Luis Enrique. Nevertheless, he remains a generous player, always willing to fight for his team. He was sent off, another difficult start for him.
Lee Kang-in (6.5) – Scored a goal and showed flashes of inspiration. He physically fades after a while. He clearly has talent, but his game remains rather predictable, and he lacks that extra burst of speed to be even more influential. On the other hand, as a goalscorer and also a passer (from the corner), he put in a solid performance.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (7) – He managed his playing time well and didn’t have to break a sweat in this match. His team is pulling away from the top of Ligue 1 and is preparing well for their upcoming match against Bayern Munich, where the intensity will obviously be on a completely different level.
