This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League semi-final (second leg on May 6th). Kick-off is at 9 pm, CET. On Monday, L’Equipe published its predicted starting lineups for each side.
PSG (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov
Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1) –
Kane
Diaz – Musiala – Olise
Pavlovic – Kimmich
Laimer – Tah – Upamecano – Stanisic
Neuer
These two lineups seem quite likely, although surprises are always possible. A degree of caution is still being exercised; coaches Luis Enrique (PSG) and Vincent Kompany (Bayern Munich) aren’t going to give any hints to the press. But the starting lineup has taken shape over the course of the matches, and no rotation is expected in the lineups.
There’s still some suspense surrounding PSG, in particular. Vitinha is expected to be tested today upon his return from a minor injury (inflammation in his heel), while it’s unclear how fit Fabian Ruiz would be to start in such a crucial match. Bradley Barcola is also an option in attack, likely replacing Désiré Doué. However, the fact that Doué will be rested on Saturday in Angers seems to indicate that he will start.
