This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final (PSG won the first leg 5-4) (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). RMC Sport reports that PSG fans were attacked by Bayern Munich supporters on their way to the stadium.
Some Parisian metro trains also had to be evacuated due to excessive smoke in the carriages.
Before the metro carrying the PSG ultras, another metro arrived at Frotmanning station. No sooner had the train stopped than 15 Parisian fans on board were chased by approximately 60 German fans. A police operation was quickly deployed,” the media outlet reported.
These are unfortunate events that should never happen, let alone in a football match. Such behavior has nothing to do with sport or love for a club; it’s simply senseless. We hope that the Parisian fans involved are unharmed and that the evening will continue without further incident.
