Eli Junior Kroupi, a 19-year-old striker who came through the Lorient youth system and now plays for Bournemouth (under contract until 2030) and the French U21 team, is among the players mentioned as transfer targets for Paris Saint-Germain. Foot Mercato reported on Tuesday that the competition will be fierce, but that PSG has one advantage: being the player’s “dream” signing.
“Bournemouth’s asking price is €100 million.”
“According to our information, PSG, Arsenal, as well as FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Manchester City have all added him to their shortlist. The Citizens have even already held meetings regarding the 19-year-old striker.
For PSG, the deal is therefore far from simple, and they have only just entered the race. Especially since, according to our information, Bournemouth’s asking price is €100 million. But the Parisian club can count on one major factor: Eli Junior Kroupi dreams of playing for PSG. He would therefore be delighted at the prospect of joining the Parisian club.”
Note that nothing is official and therefore nothing is certain. These are just rumors; the situation in England could be different. However, PSG could well be of interest to a player given their style of play and recent trophies, as well as the progress of several players who have earned caps for their national teams, particularly at Chelsea.
” Kroupi might be tempted by PSG, where his versatility, in addition to his talent, could help him secure playing time. However, he still faces stiff competition and a high price tag, even if the latter seems justified. It’s possible that last summer’s negotiations for Ilya Zabarnyi (the 23-year-old defender) are helping to speed up discussions between PSG and Bournemouth. However, this doesn’t provide a clear advantage. We’ll have to wait and see.
