Warren Zaïre-Emery, the 20-year-old midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, spoke to FFF TV upon arriving at Clairefontaine to join Les Bleus at their training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup. He took the opportunity to discuss PSG’s victory in the 2025-2026 Champions League, already expressing his ambitions for the future, including the World Cup.
Zaïre-Emery said, “In three years, what we’ve achieved with coach Luis Enrique is magnificent.”
“Back to back, it’s incredible. The first one was unique, this one is legendary. I enjoyed it; it was a great time spent all together. We had a great time with our families afterward, with the players too. It was simply magnificent.
Honestly, in three years, what we’ve achieved with coach Luis Enrique—reaching the semi-finals and winning twice—is magnificent. Winning two times in a row is even better. And we’re going for the third (laughs).
Zaire-Emery: “We all have a common goal to achieve.”
And now the challenge with the French national team? How do you feel about that?
Great, great. It’s an honor, as always, to represent France, my country. It’s simply magnificent. We all have a common goal to achieve. Physically, I’m in great shape. I’ve played a lot of matches, and I think that’s what makes me strong, playing regularly. I’ll be there to help the team as much as possible. and have a lot of fun.”
