Renato Marin, the 19-year-old Italian-Brazilian goalkeeper who saw out his contract with AS Roma in the summer of 2025 and immediately signed with Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, played three matches in his first season. Italian journalist Tomássó Criscuolo reported on Friday that a loan move is being considered, with Braga reportedly interested.

“Portuguese siren calls for 2006-born goalkeeper Renato Marin: the former Roma player could opt for a straight loan to get more playing time and would leave PSG after winning the Champions League. Braga is interested in him.”
Renato Marin has shown promise in his few appearances for PSG, but securing regular playing time is difficult, unless he is promoted to the number two spot. A loan therefore seems quite likely, although it is not yet a done deal. As for Braga’s interest, it’s now a frequently mentioned potential exit route, given QSI’s presence within the Portuguese club.
We remain cautious, even though Gabriel Moscardo (20-year-old midfielder/defender) is on loan there; a move between Braga and PSG isn’t suddenly “easy.” It’s still a possibility, though; let’s wait and see. This situation also seems to depend on the case of Lucas Chevalier (24 years old), the current number two goalkeeper.
