Portugal, one of the favorites for this World Cup, needs a strong start to avoid pressure against Colombia and Uzbekistan. Given the depth of their squad, they should have the resources to find a winning formula. However, they will need to be wary of a Congo side that arrives with confidence and quality. This is a country to be taken seriously, and they’ll be eager to show it right from this first match.

Being the favorite means nothing on the pitch; things can change very quickly in football. The Portuguese need to approach this match well to get a head start on the next round. We certainly hope for an enjoyable match, with plenty of pace and excitement, as well as good performances from our Parisians.
