On the sidelines of Monday’s press conference to discuss tomorrow’s 2024-2025 Champions League Round 5 match against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on Canal+Foot in France), Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique was interviewed by PSG TV. He spoke about the importance of everyone getting involved to score, and the keys to the match.
Vitinha: “We all need to be committed.
How do you explain your recent goal? How do you feel ahead of Bayern?
It feels good to score. Not just the strikers or the midfielders, or the defenders…everyone needs to have this desire to appear, to create, to score.
João Neves scored, and so did Beraldo, which is great. Everyone has to believe in it and show up. Not just the forwards.
Vitinha “We have to be very careful in this type of match, keep a cool head.”
What will make the difference in this match?
It’s going to be a very tough match, because they’re a great team playing at home. They’ve got world-class players, and we know that. We have to play according to what the coach says. We have to be very attentive in this type of match, and keep a cool head. Whether it goes well or not. That’s the key.
