Paris Saint-Germain has officially announced the loan of Frøya Dorsin to SL Benfica for the entire 2026-2027 season. As announced by the club on its official account, the 19-year-old Norwegian forward joins the Portuguese side in a deal that also includes an option to buy.

This marks a second consecutive loan spell for Frøya Dorsin, following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season at AS Roma. Having arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in September 2024, the young forward made 16 appearances across all competitions for the club—registering two goals and one assist—before her temporary move to Italy.
This new experience should allow her to continue her development at a club that regularly competes at the top level in Portugal. However, the inclusion of an option to buy sets this deal apart from her previous loan to Rome: Benfica will have the opportunity to sign the Norway U23 international permanently at the end of the season, subject to the terms agreed upon with PSG. Nevertheless, it appears the Parisian club is not entirely convinced that the young player will ultimately secure a spot in their squad.
