Mika Godts—a 21-year-old forward (primarily a left winger) for Ajax Amsterdam (under contract until 2029) and Belgium, coming off an excellent season—is a target for Paris Saint-Germain (as confirmed by both his agent and the Dutch club). Journalists Sacha Tavolieri, Fabrizio Romano, and Santi Aouna (Foot Mercato) report that the transfer is all but finalized, a claim supported by a photo confirming the Belgian player is heading to Paris.
Sacha Tavolieri:
Mika Godts is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain!
🇧🇪 All parties expect a decisive day regarding the completion of the transfer this Friday.
There is confidence that a full agreement will be reached in the coming hours, valued at around €50m plus bonuses
Fabrizio Romano:
Santi Aouna:
“Mika Godts will soon be traveling to Paris.
The player will not be part of the Ajax squad for Sunday’s match.
Ajax and PSG have a verbal agreement, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.”

Given such clear statements from reliable journalists and the photo published shortly thereafter, there is very little doubt regarding Godts’ transfer to PSG. It would be highly surprising if this deal ended any other way. We can even expect an official announcement quite soon. He is unlikely to play this Sunday in Lens during the Trophée des Champions, but one can hope he will be part of the squad by then.
Let’s remain cautious; the transfer window can sometimes be strangely long. However, there is now a certain sense of optimism. Let’s hope PSG’s transfer activity becomes very clear in the coming days.
