Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique held a press conference this Monday ahead of tomorrow’s match against FC Barcelona at the Parc des Princes (kick-off at 9 p.m., CET), part of the third matchday of the 2026-2027 Champions League. On the sidelines of the event, the Spaniard also spoke to PSG TV.

The goal is clear: to win again?
That is the intention. In the grand scheme of things, the specific competition might not be the most important factor for the future, but the schedule has given us the chance to play a match like this. We already had a special encounter against Manchester. When you consider what PSG and Barça represent in today’s football, you’re looking at top-tier clubs with a very positive philosophy of play. We want to enjoy the match—it’s a wonderful game to be a part of.

What about the role of the fans?
In a tight match—and there will be moments for both sides, given the quality of each team—playing at the Parc des Princes will make a huge difference. We are much stronger here.
