AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain faced off in advance of the 16th day of Ligue 1 on Wednesday evening. It was a match of high intensity and incomprehensible refereeing. Despite this, the Rouge et Bleu never looked out of sorts, winning 2-4 against the Monégasques. Eliesse Ben Seghir, midfielder for the principality and scorer of tonight’s goal, spoke of this defeat, synonymous with a bad operation for ASM in financial terms:
Ben Seghir: “We’re a little disappointed with the final score”.
It was a tough defeat? Did you have enough chances to win tonight?
I think what we lacked was a bit more efficiency. We had a lot of chances, but we could have finished them off and been more decisive.
Did Monaco wake up too late in the game?
I think we were much better in the second half. We had our moments, but we should have ended them with goals. We’re a bit disappointed with the final score.
A lot of respect for Hakimi? And between the two teams?
We have a lot of respect for this team and we know they have a lot of respect for us. We knew it was going to be a big game and we respected each other.
