Paris FC, currently 2nd in Ligue 2, have made an important choice which has now been made official: they will play at the Stade Jean-Bouin from the 2025-2026 season. A landmark decision for a possible derby against Paris Saint-Germain, whose Parc des Princes is less than 100 metres away.

We’re not yet sure whether we’ll have a Paris derby next season, but it’s a real possibility given Paris FC’s current 2nd place in Ligue 2. It would be a great match-up, with the proximity adding a little “spice”. Especially with a stadium so close by.
There are a few questions, however, as the Stade Jean-Bouin will normally always be the home of rugby club Stade Français. In particular, how will the pitch be managed to bring it up to Ligue 1 standards?
