German international goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, a former Ligue 1 player with 91 appearances under his belt, joins Paris FC until 2028.

Welcome back to the capital”

The signing of Kevin Trapp is an unexpected boost for Paris FC. At 34, the former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper (2015-2019), who has since returned to Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, maintains a solid reputation on the European stage. His experience at the highest level, punctuated by a Europa League victory in 2022, is a major asset for a club with great ambitions.

By attracting a player accustomed to continental competitions, Paris FC clearly demonstrates its intentions: to no longer be content with simply appearing, but to aim for a lasting presence in the elite. Trapp’s return to the capital, even in colors other than those of PSG, also symbolizes a bridge between two visions of Parisian football, one focused on the glitterati, the other on patient construction.
