Nuno Mendes, Paris Saint-Germain’s 22-year-old left-back, played a key role in Portugal’s 1-1 draw with Croatia on Monday evening (see Croatia/Portugal video summary), but worried Parisian fans when he grimaced as he came off in the 80th minute. Speaking to the media, coach Roberto Martinez gave some pointers.

Nothing serious normally, although we’re always wary of these simple “hits” becoming something more serious. Still, there’s plenty to be confident about.
