This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain travelled to face SCO d’Angers as part of the 11th day of Ligue 1 (4-2 video summary here). Lee Kang-In, the 23-year-old Parisian double striker, spoke to PSG TV on the sidelines.

Lee Kang-In “I’m very happy with this victory”.

“It’s a good thing. We’re happy with this win, we always want to take the three points. Now it’s time to go to the national team, take care of ourselves and come back healthy.

We’re all working together, we’re all running together and we’re all creating opportunities together. We’re very happy about that. Beyond the goals and assists, I’m very happy with this win and we’re going to keep working hard to get the three points in the next game.”

A masterful match for PSG, who win by a wide margin before the international break. After the frustration of the Champions League defeat to Atlético Madrid (1-2), it was important for Luis Enrique and his men to get back to winning ways. The plus point of the match was that the Parisians were realistic, scoring 4 goals.

However, it was the slackness at the end of the match which allowed the Angevins to score twice. In a match that was under control, we had to push for another five minutes to produce a perfect copy. But that in no way detracts from this success and its importance in boosting confidence.
