Lee Kang-In, the 25-year-old midfielder/forward for Paris Saint-Germain, spoke to Ligue1+ after the 3-0 victory against Angers this Saturday at the Stade Raymond Kopa in Matchday 31 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season.
Lee: “We knew it was going to be a difficult match.”
Did you have a good game?
We knew it was going to be a difficult match. Because Angers is a good team. I think we’re very happy with the win. It’s important to prepare for Tuesday’s match, to work hard and prepare well for Bayern.
Your goal was very well executed…
Thank you, thank you. We had already combined and worked together before that. So I had the opportunity, the ball came back into the box, and then I’m happy to have scored that goal.
You could have taken it with one touch, but you immediately felt you needed to cut inside?
Yes.
Lee, “It gives us positive vibes.”
Did the defeat in Lyon serve as a turning point?
Yes, I think every match we manage to win gives us positive vibes. We have to keep working to win a lot more points and a lot more matches, and everything will be fine.
Almost champions…
We’re trying, we’re trying. I think these are two competitions we really want to win: the league and the Champions League. We’re trying to prepare in the best way possible. And we want to win these two trophies, which are very important to us.
